Our Pastor

Thank you for your interest in Central Baptist Church; we’re glad you've come to visit our window to the world. We hope that you will gain valuable insight about our church through the many links found here on our website. May the Lord richly bless you and we hope to meet you at one of our services very soon!

Pastor Ben accepted the call to be the Senior Pastor Central Baptist Church in July 2013.  He grew up in Milwaukee, WI and was saved at the age of twelve.  He had grown up in a religious home for most of his life to that point, but never had a relationship with Jesus Christ. One Sunday morning at the age of thirteen, he came to realize his need for salvation when he and his family went to visit a Baptist church in the Milwaukee area.  It was at that time that he came to Christ in true repentance and faith after one of the morning services.  Pastor Ben was called to preach one year later while attending camp.  It is a calling and burden that has never left and he would absolutely echo the words of the Apostle Paul and say, “Woe is me if I preach not the gospel!”

Pastor Ben has both a B.A and M.A. in Biblical Studies; is an associate member of the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS); and is currently working on his Master of Divinity degree.  He also spent eight years in the business world as a real estate broker and insurance consultant which allowed him to gain valuable experience as a regular church member and business owner.  He believes the church should be actively involved in working in and reaching the community. Pastor Ben is an active volunteer firefighter in the City of Stephenson and is also the chaplain training officer for the Menominee County Sheriff's Department and an active chaplain.

Pastor Ben’s main desire and focus as the pastor at CBC is to faithfully feed the flock of God through accurate and Biblical expository preaching.  He also desires to spend as much time as possible counseling and encouraging visitors and church members with the goal of seeing them come to a saving knowledge of Christ and then mature and grow to become more like their Lord .  Pastor Ben is called to be an under-shepherd for the chief Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ.  His desire therefore is to lead, guide, teach, and train as a shepherd should.

Ben and his wife Andrea have been married for 11 years and have four beautiful children: Anna, Jackson, Alyson, and Ashlee.  They understand the importance of family and ministry, and desire to have their family involved in the work of the ministry as much as possible.

You may contact Pastor Ben anytime should you have any questions or need spiritual help. You can contact him by email at pastorboesh@gmail.com or by phone at the church.
